Diablo 2 is the sequel to the famous game Diablo. This dark fantasy-themed action RPG is a chop-and-chop dungeon roaming style game. This game was developed by Blizzard North and released for Microsoft Windows and Macintosh OS 2000. Diablo 2 had been the most popular game in 2001-2002 and many factors contributed to its success. The game basically has an addictive hack and slash theme and free access to Battle.net, giving the player several options to play. It can be played as single player, multiplayer via LAN, or multiplayer via Battle.net.
Diablo II Lord of Destruction was released in 2001 and this game dominated the hearts of gamers until another Diablo III sequel was announced in June 2008. This game continues to be popular with young fans. The player takes on the role of a hero and continues to fight monsters while traversing dungeons and lands. There are four acts in this game and each one follows a predetermined path. Each act has the goal of destroying the boss monster, and by killing it, the player proceeds to the next level or act. An interesting game for Diablo 2 players to have real-time action thrills with sophisticated weapons and powers.
You can choose between five different characters to play. They are Amazon, Necromancer, Sorceress, Paladin, and Barbarian. Each of these characters has different strengths and weaknesses along with a set of abilities to choose from to fight the monsters. Along with the four acts, the player also has difficulty levels to complete. The game has three levels of difficulty: Normal, Nightmare and Hell. A character first has to complete Normal to proceed to Nightmare and consequently to Hell. Each difficulty level is a higher challenge and has higher difficulty characteristics. Villains become more skilled and dangerous. The player has to develop a hardcore character to kill them!
