A review of Snapper’s HI-VAC walk-behind mowers

Some people like to keep their lawn clean, free of debris when mowing. And there are many lawn mowers on the market that come with a bagging system that captures all of your grass as you cut it. Snapper has in its range of walk-behind mowers the HI-VAC series, which is a collection of push and self-propelled mowers that have a special bagging and vacuuming system that promises to literally sweep clean lawns.

The 21675B, for example, is a HI-VAC series push mower. Built with a powerful 675 series Briggs and Stratton engine along with a ReadyStart feature, this mower is ideal for small gardens. Your powerful vacuum will capture any debris you may have when mowing the lawn. If pushing isn’t your cup of tea, you might consider the P21675B which has similar features to the 21675B with the exception of a self-propelled motor that makes steering easy.

Then there’s the more powerful P21875BV, which has a professional series Briggs and Stratton engine capable of 8.75 gross torque for a lot of cutting and bagging. Snapper’s unique HI-VAC bagging system features a patented rolled edge deck design for maximum vacuum power.

There are other models like the P2160KWV that consist of a Kawasaki FJ180V overhead valve motor and the P21875BVE that has an electric start function. All models are also equipped with a 2.5 bushel bag that can be easily emptied when full. All HI-VAC series lawn mowers have a front and rear steel shaft that gives the machines a strong construction that will last for years of heavy use.
