Chocoholic Confession

I have no idea how it started, so I have no idea how it got this far. Sometimes we go through life looking for something that can define us, a hobby, a place where we can belong. Some people find him under the wings of love in the arms of his lover, some have found him in his passionate work, some have found his joy in the laughter of children (which I adore so much by the way), and others in his search for Find answers to the mysteries of the world. Surprisingly, the largest percentage of the world’s population lives life from day to day, accepting what comes and without a defined purpose.

For me, it just grew on me. A casual bite of chocolates, curiosity about this tempting product, a harmless craving for chocolates that leads to a curious search for the truth. In fact, it can be said that I fell in love with chocolates. And as my mother always reminds me, a love that grows never fades, so if you ever fall in love, make sure you fall deeply. With that being said, I think I have a pretty good excuse as to why the chocolates and I aren’t going to part anytime soon.

I have had the greatest of adventures in my search for the best of the best chocolates. Most of my vacations have been related to chocolates. I’ve toured many chocolate conferences, visited the Ivory Coast, which produces most of the world’s cocoa, tried a variety of chocolates I can barely keep track of. Surprisingly in all my adventure there is a place that comes to me. It has become my chocolate shop, chocolate fly. We all have that place where we feel like we belong, a place where it’s just you and the people there make it worth it. It may be in your service, perhaps in your varieties that can satisfy all the different urges for the different days of the week, the great gift ideas you have. Or it may be that sometimes all the reasons add up to one. We just belong.

I’m not just obsessed with chocolates for nothing, I have my reasons and I’m sticking with them for better or worse until the economic crisis is a part.

For one: Chocolates have that addictive flavor that one bar is never enough.

Secondly: chocolates are the best gift for a friend. I mean they are the easiest gifts. There is a joke in my circle of friends that ‘we already know what’s in the box’, well don’t think I am so predictable as there are many varieties to choose from. I can always get a different type with a different message on it. Surprise!!! Affordable, is the word that can best describe the chocolates. There are very expensive ones for class lovers. There is no money excuse attached and it makes a perfect gift. It is actually pocket friendly, if I may say so.

Without forgetting the fact that Chocolates can accompany any occasion. Birthdays, weddings, Valentine’s Day, tea parties, movies, girls’ night out. It’s amazing that even in sad, depressing and confusing times, chocolates contain a neurotransmitter serotonin that has the power to pacify and calm our souls. I love the chocolate fly idea of customizing the box of chocolates depending on the occasion.

The fact that they come in different brands in terms of tastes, shapes, colors, and flavors for different occasions is a huge plus. Just as we define wines by brand and color, there are also hundreds of types of chocolate described by brand. I have traveled, researched, and tried a variety of brands, but the group isn’t even close to existing (not sure it’s possible) as a new day brings a new flavor discovery to life. You can have it however you want, salty, chili, extra sweet, milky, ooh and for some of us (guilty as charged) who love the taste of liquor, there are chocolates mixed with different liquors.

Affordable, is the word that can best describe the chocolates. There is no money excuse attached. It is actually pocket friendly, if I may say so.

It’s healthy, this is really interesting, but research has shown that chocolates (dark chocolates) are good for your health. Now this is one of my biggest excuses for having a bar up to date. It contains nutrients that protect the skin from aging, blood pressure, maintains hormonal balance, reduces cholesterol and the list is endless.

There is a different wool, a new adventure, in the world of chocolates each bite is a story.
