Positive Thinking vs Right Thinking: A Difference in Point of View

Let’s examine not only what positive thinking is, but what it actually takes to change your thoughts and feelings, which is not only positive thinking, but also, to be more scientific, what should be called ‘correct’ thinking. Right thinking is the key, not just a positive attitude or wishful thinking. Right thinking is scientific; it is adhering to Universal Laws. Of course, in that case, you have to know what the Universal Laws are.

Positive thinking is the right first step in the right direction. This mental attitude sees the glass as half full and not half empty. Fill the empty space in the glass when it falls low, and look for the good and uplifting conscience in all circumstances. A positive mind trusts and has faith; he is not skeptical and cynical. He will do the best job he can do, because he wants to please. A positive mind is kind and caring and will be generous with its time and commitments. You will take care of yourself because you know that a positive attitude will energize your daily life.

A positive mind also affects your health with its fresh and cheerful demeanor. You feel good and empowered and not drained of all the negativity. When you love your life, you will want to share it with your family and friends, and you will want to be more active and involved. Positive people will achieve their goals and won’t get discouraged when they don’t get it the first time. They are persistent and attract people who are on their optimistic frequency.

Now that we have established the benefits of being positive, let’s examine the phrase ‘Right Thinking’ or ‘Right Thinking’. Let’s take a look at the difference in these theories.

Right Thinking is one step above positive thinking, many rungs on the ladder to Understanding, the Truth of Being. Right thinking adheres, as said before, to Universal Laws and conforms to their guidelines.

A positive thinker might say ‘I want to be healthy’ or ‘I am healthy’. A correct thought would be ‘I am Health’, and the thinker would know that he is actually an indestructible mental being. A positive thinker might say, ‘I am abundantly supplied’ or ‘I have everything I need’, while the correct thinker will say ‘I am wealth’, knowing that the Universe provides everything you want and need.

Not make mistakes; it also requires deep conviction and diligent study. Once the right thinker really knows that ‘it is so’, he will be provided with an abundance of great measures. This is not wishful thinking or positive thinking, it is the Truth of Being and this truth will manifest through the correct application of this truth by the correct thinker.

Other positive thoughts include ‘I’ll be kinder, kinder, more generous, and then the thinker goes on, thinks and acts that way for a while, reverting to old behaviors very often.’ The right thinker knows that there is an immediate punishment (cause and effect) to his mistakes and therefore will make sure to carefully weigh his thoughts and actions. There is no room for error. Universal Laws are not personal. They do not choose, reward or punish. They just are. You can choose to adhere to them and get your rewards through joy and happiness, living a harmonious life, or you can stray from the right path and get your rewards in the form of unhappiness, illness and unpleasant experiences. You are the creator and therefore you will have to take responsibility for your actions.

The good news is that you can start fresh every day of your life. Every moment is a new beginning. Positive thinking only requires the will and desire to act and think better: it is a state of mind of joyful expectation. It is a wonderful way of life with many rewarding experiences; It is certainly worth the effort and steps required to achieve the goal of correct thinking.

However, Right Thinking requires a total commitment to the daily study and practice of the Truth. It takes all the dedication you can muster. The mind (consciously and subconsciously), the choice, the right reason and wisdom, everything has to be aligned. Unfoldment from within is your purpose on this plane and it is the final goal and the only way to heaven.
