Be sure to meditate on the word of God that you hear until it becomes a part of your being so that it can bear fruit in your marriage. Speak words that boost your spouse’s morale. Speak uplifting words for your marriage. Take positive actions that really show that you are the submissive wife of God’s dream.
The third step is to take practical steps against the rebellion in your heart. One of those steps is to take care of the company you have. The Bible says that poor communication corrupts good manners. It’s time to deprogram your life from those worldly associations that have programmed you to rebel against your peace of mind. Let those in bondage seek release. You are a free child of God. So be it! Get those books and movies that are contrary to God’s Word off your shelf. You don’t need them. Take a stand. It is in your own interest.
To the above is added absolute love for your partner. Perfect love casts out fear, fear of domination. If you truly loved him, you would submit to him in all things.
